Portrait Session Information
Firstly...thank you for booking your family portrait session with us. Family is number one for me and I am so excited to be able to offer you the opportunity to capture beautiful photographs for your family that you can share and pass on to future generations.
Having photographed 1000’s of families at weddings nothing makes me feel more valued than creating memories to last forever.
:: The Session ::
Our portrait sessions last around 90 minutes and you have the option of Studio or Outdoor images.

During our studio sessions we mainly stick to neutral backgrounds (white/grey/black) and we recommend clothing that is not too colourful or have distracting patterns - we want your eyes to look at your beautiful faces in your photos...not your clothing!
We also recommend you plan what everyone is
wearing for the group shots - keeping a common theme is also a good idea.
If the weather permits then we can also take a 1 minute drive down the road and get more natural images in a grassy/bush setting using natural light.
:: Portrait Viewing & Pricing ::
When your portraits are ready for viewing (generally 2 weeks after your session) we will invite you to the studio. Fully edited images are available to purchase at this viewing session.
Single images are $50 each and are supplied to you via a private online gallery for you to download in both colour and with our special black & white recipe!
Bundles of 10 images are at a reduced price of $350 and if you love all of your images then you can purchase your entire session for $495.

After this appointment - all of your images will be in proof form in a private online gallery for future ordering.
:: The Studio ::
Our studio is located at 409 Briggs Road Nilma North, 3821.
This is where I grew up for 34 years!! As it is now my rental property I cannot have a sign out the front - there is 409 written on the letter box. If coming off Bloomfields Rd then it will be 1km up on your right (if the road turns to dirt you have gone too far!!)

The studio is the building closest to where you will park your car at the end of the driveway.

Frequently Asked Questions

Q. SHOULD I GET HAIR & MAKE-UP DONE BEFOREHAND???
​
A. Completely up to you and what you want to achieve from your session! If you do your own makeup please avoid shimmering eye shadows and shiny foundations—it is best to keep your makeup matte. It is also best to avoid makeup with sunscreen in it as it can cause shine on your face.
Q. WHAT IF WE'RE LATE???

A. We allow 2 hours between our sessions - if you are later than your session start time we cannot guarantee the full 90 minutes shooting time.

Q. CAN WE BRING PROPS???
​
A. Yes, you may bring what ever props you like or feel are meaningful to the session.

Q: DO YOU RETOUCH ALL THE PORTRAITS???
​
A. Images at your viewing session have been corrected with basic retouching. Any digital images, prints/albums will be retouched to your requirements.

Q: HOW MANY PHOTOS WILL I HAVE TO CHOOSE FROM?
​
A. As every session is unique the amount of images varies. We certainly do not set out to achieve a certain number - we will always choose quality over quantity.

Q. DO YOU HAVE PAYMENT PLANS???
​
A. Yes! We have many options regarding purchasing digital images, prints and albums. Only the actual photo sessions are required to be paid upfront.
